Three local suspects – two men and a woman aged 39 to 61 – were detained by Tutong police early Sunday morning for alleged housebreaking in Kampong Keriam.
According to the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), police patrol was alerted by a member of the Kampong Keriam neighbourhood watch, and found a suspicious vehicle at the site.
The initial investigation found suspicious items believed to be stolen goods.
All suspects are believed to have carried out break-ins to houses without any occupants.
They were brought back to the Tutong Police Station for further investigation.
