Mumbai: A 24-year-old woman was arrested at the airport on Friday for attempting to escort two women to a chatting scam job location in Laos via Thailand.
The police said the two women were to join a team of fraudsters operating the chatting scam.
Mitaliben Parmar from Navsari in Gujarat was escorting the two women, Richakumari Rathod (23) and Asfanali Malik (24) from Surat, on Thursday.
The trio was scheduled to board Indigo flight 6E-1051) to Thailand when they were stopped at immigration counter number 9.
