Spillover effect of Myanmar’s internal conflict unacceptable 

Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Tuesday said that the spillover effect of Myanmar’s internal conflicts was unexpected and unacceptable.

“We summoned the Myanmar ambassador to lodge our strong protest and asked him to convey that to his government,” he said, while replying to a question from the journalists at the foreign ministry.

“It’s their internal conflict. But we have protested that because of the conflicts mortal shells are falling into our border, killing our people… their (Myanmar) people are also taking shelter to our country,” he said.
